2014: Meet 40 startups that had 1 metre booths at our sister-event Web Summit 2014 and have raised $1 billion in the 9 months since then. For RISE 2015, we were joined by some fantastic startups, including aCommerce, Shopline, Sisense, Edukart and BranchMetrics.

Data Science: RISE will grow to over 10,000 attendees from 70+ countries in 2016. We take a different approach using data science, which VentureBeat and Wired have written about. We think it works for most startups and that’s why we’ve grown faster than any other tech conference in history.

Uber: Our events are not just about what happens during the day. At night, Hong Kong will come alive, with investors, media, starutps and more networking and doing business in bars and restaurants throughout the city. You can watch a fascinating story about how Uber raised a huge round in a pub in Dublin.

How should I prepare? We want to learn about your startup and your vision.

What percentage of startups are selected? Sadly we can’t select every startup. Less than 10% of applicants overall are selected for ALPHA.

What if I’m not selected? If you’re not selected for ALPHA, you can avail of general attendee tickets, which are coming on sale in the coming weeks.

What’s included in the ALPHA package and are there any additional taxes or charges I should be aware of? The ALPHA package includes 4 tickets to the three day event for $1,450. You will exhibit for one day and we’ll invite you to workshops, roundtables, mentor hours & office hours. You will also have 4 passes to the Night Summit.
